Can we have a civil ceremony?
Yes, in the State of Florida, I can perform your ceremony without any
religious references.
2. We do not attend Church regularly, but could we have a spiritual
ceremony?
Yes, as a licensed multi-denominational minister, I can assist you with a
ceremony that best reflects your beliefs.
3. We have children from a previous marriage, can we include them?
Yes, we can include them. Some examples:
a) part of the procession (flower girl, ring bearer, place of honor at the
altar).
b) presentation of a gift (jewelry, ring, watch, medallion, key, flowers) after
your ring exchange.
c) reading prose or poetry (the Apache Wedding Prayer is especially suitable for
2 or more children).
4. Can we include some poetry or prose that has special meaning for
us?
Yes, you want the Ceremony to speak to your hearts and touch your family and
friends. Your chosen passages can be read by a family member, special guest, or
myself.
5. Can we include some ethnic and cultural traditions?
Yes, anything you desire. Some examples are: unity candle, handfasting, breaking
the glass, sharing the goblet, tasting the honey, jumping the broom,
presentation of roses or flowers or gifts.
6. We are from different religious backgrounds. Can we have a ceremony that
reflects both beliefs?
Yes, I can write a ceremony that incorporates beliefs from both backgrounds.
I can also work with another minister, rabbi or chosen person.
7. A close member of our family recently passed. Can we honor them in the
ceremony?
Yes. In an indoor ceremony, we can have a memorial candle burning in their
honor. In an outdoor ceremony, we can use a resonant bell in memory of the loved
one. The name can be mentioned in the program. Flowers on the altar can also be
dedicated to their memory.
8. What do you wear as the officiant?
I have a variety of appropriate attire depending on the nature of the
wedding. I can include my minister stole or doctorate robe if it is desired.

My fee is
$350 - 450 if a rehearsal is required.
